Recall notice that killed my car is going to take months to get fixed. I have a 2022 Kia EV6 and up to this point, I have loved the car. There was a recall notice that came in November of 2024 to fix the ICUU. If this part dies (which mine did) the vehicle is rendered undriveable. They have had my car for over a month since it died and there is NO timeline for fixing it. They cannot even give me a loaner and can give no reasonable answer as to why. Stay away from this place because they are terrible.
My wife and I bought a used 2019 KIA Sorento and worked with Simon and it was a great experience. Within 6 months ,we started having electrical issues that kept killing the battery. The dealer tried very hard to diagnose the problem and couldn't find the problem. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and treated like we mattered. When the salesman had someone show up for a scheduled appointment early, he made sure we were taken care of. Both gentlemen were very professional and helpful. They weren't pushy to make a sale, but they also didn't act like they could care less. After making the deal, the 1st salesman returned to help me get started with OnStar as well as show me tips and tricks for the technology package. 5 stars for the whole process and all who helped us out!

After working with at least two dozen dealers within 300 miles of Charlotte to lease a new 2024 Ioniq 6, I had hands down the best experience at Carolina Hyundai. Lindsay, my sales agent, was communicative and highly professional--and most important in this business, a straight shooter! Bought brand new kia forte in April 2019. Seats emitting fine particles, dash, door panels, seats, etc full of white, fine particles. Went to Kia, they looked at it. Service said didn't know what to do. Nothing was done. Went back about fibers flying in air again & again. Nothing done. Finally after 3 years they sprayed seats. McNeil Chevrolet had what we needed, but what we really appreciated was that the final purchase price, including dealer add ons, were clearly displayed on the website and communicated to us before we went over there, so there were no surprises when we got there. There were no sales gimmicks, just straightforward info and pricing. Chance was our sales guy and he made sure to answer all of our questions as thoroughly and honestly as he could. Ben helped us get the best price possible. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.

I bought the car the first week or two of 2023. In February, the battery died and Carolina Kia wouldn't give me a new battery, they just charged the one that came with the car. When I was talking to the service person (Mark Walters) on the phone to see I could get a new battery and I had also told them about five other things that needed fixing, he hung up on me. I would have given you a higher rating but....the brake pad indicator wasn't reset so now I have doubts if the rotors were turned or if new pads were actually installed? It's odd because I requested my truck to be serviced and the brakes checked so the oil life indicator was reset but not the brake pad indicator. So you can see my doubt.
